Air Jordan 5 Retro Shattered Backboard

After leaving its mark on some of the most iconic models in the Air Jordan 1 line, the celebrated Shattered Backboard colorway has arrived on the Air Jordan 5, giving life to a unique edition: the Air Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard Orange Blaze. This model, characterized by a bold and unmistakable style, is the latest chapter in a story that celebrates Michael Jordan's legendary dunk during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy, when he shattered the backboard with his force.

Following the theme of previous Shattered Backboard editions, the design is based on a harmonious color combination: white, orange blaze, and black. However, this version of the Air Jordan 5 stands out for a few innovative details. Instead of the iconic mesh inserts found on the side panels and tongue of traditional Air Jordan 5 models, here we find a translucent mesh that also extends to the collar, offering a modern and refined look. Further embellishing the silhouette are the metallic shark-tooth details on the midsole, a typical Jordan 5 feature, but here rendered even more dynamic thanks to the chromatic contrasts. The semi-transparent outsole completes the design, adding a contemporary touch that makes the sneaker even more captivating.

The Air Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard does not just celebrate the past but brings a breath of fresh air, thanks to the fusion of classic details and modern materials. The result is a sneaker that captures attention as much for its design as for the historical significance it carries.

Perfect for sneaker enthusiasts and those looking for an exclusive model that tells a story, the Jordan 5 Shattered Backboard Orange Blaze offers a versatile style that is easy to pair. Their combination of vibrant colors and high-quality materials makes them ideal for both the collector and the streetwear fashion fan.
