Nike sneakers: iconic models, new releases, and collaborations

Over the years, Nike has built some of the most recognizable silhouettes in sneaker culture, transforming models originally created for basketball, running, and skateboarding into true lifestyle icons. ResellZone's selection of sneakers features timeless classics, new releases, sought-after colorways, and collaborations that have defined the brand's recent history.

From Dunks to Air Force 1s, through Air Max, SB Dunks, and Kobe, the Nike universe encompasses families that are very different in terms of design, origin, and style, in addition to numerous projects created alongside international artists, designers, and brands.

Nike Dunk, Air Force 1 and Air Max

Among the most representative models are certainly the Nike Dunks, born on the hardwood in the eighties and having become, over time, one of the brand's most popular silhouettes. The Low and High versions have given life to hundreds of colorways, from the most essential combinations to the most sought-after collaborations.

The Nike Air Force 1s follow a different approach. The silhouette maintains an immediately recognizable base and exists in the historic Low, Mid, and High versions, in addition to numerous colorways and editions born from special collaborations.

A completely different identity characterizes the Nike Air Max, a family that made Air technology visible through models that have become iconic, such as the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and Air Max 97. Silhouettes born from the running world that, over time, have permanently entered streetwear and sneaker culture.

Nike SB Dunk, Kobe and new silhouettes

The bond between Nike and the skate world finds one of its best-known expressions in the Nike SB Dunks. Compared to traditional Dunks, the SB line was created specifically for skateboarding and is also distinguished by the strong weight that collaborations, storytelling, and colorways have had in its history.

On the basketball front, the Nike Kobe line represents the range developed around Kobe Bryant, characterized by silhouettes designed to offer agility and a generally lower construction compared to many traditional basketball shoes.

Nike also continues to experiment with new families and technologies. Among the most recent projects are the Nike Mind, while the catalog includes historic silhouettes such as the Nike Blazer, models with running DNA such as the Nike Zoom Vomero 5, and families with an immediately recognizable technical design such as the Nike Shox.

The most important Nike collaborations

A fundamental part of Nike's recent history passes through its collaborations, which have often reinterpreted well-known models by introducing new materials, proportions, and aesthetic details.

The Nike x Travis Scott releases are among the most recognizable of recent years and have involved silhouettes such as the Air Jordan, Air Force 1, and numerous Nike models, often through details immediately associated with the Cactus Jack universe.

With Nike x Off-White, Virgil Abloh reinterpreted some of the brand's most iconic silhouettes. Projects like “The Ten” contributed to making the dialogue between sneaker design, fashion, and deconstruction one of the central themes of contemporary sneaker culture.

The Nike NOCTA universe, developed together with Drake, includes both reinterpretations of Nike models and dedicated silhouettes such as the Hot Step and Glide. The approach of Nike Sacai is different again, recognizable for its overlapping elements, experimental proportions, and models like the VaporWaffle.

An even more functional and experimental approach characterizes Nike x Tom Sachs, a collaboration that gave birth to the NikeCraft universe with models such as the Mars Yard and the General Purpose Shoe, developed around materials, construction, and everyday use.

The Nike x Supreme collaboration also occupies an important place in the relationship between Nike and streetwear, with releases that have involved numerous silhouettes from the brand over the years.

Alongside traditional collaborations, Nike also carries out projects such as Doernbecher Freestyle, which over time has involved several Nike and Air Jordan silhouettes through designs developed together with the young patients of the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

Nike sneakers for men and women

The variety of the Nike catalog allows for a transition from essential, easy-to-wear everyday models to silhouettes that are much more linked to collecting and limited editions.

A Dunk Low has very different proportions and aesthetics compared to an Air Max 95 or an Air Force 1, while an SB Dunk or a Travis Scott collaboration tells a more specific part of sneaker culture. Sizes, colorways, and availability change from model to model, while each family maintains distinct characteristics, proportions, and cultural references.

Original Nike sneakers and pre-owned models

The growth of the limited-edition sneaker market has made authenticity an increasingly central element, especially in the case of collaborations and releases that are difficult to find through traditional retail channels.

At ResellZone, every product undergoes a verification process to check its authenticity and compliance with the original model. All details regarding the inspection method are available on the page dedicated to product authenticity.

Pre-owned Nike sneakers are collected in the Pre-owned Nike section, dedicated to models from the secondary market and organized separately from new releases.
