How we verify the authenticity of sneakers and products
Authentication is not based on a single detail. Packaging, materials, labels, stitching, and construction are evaluated together, taking into account the specific characteristics of the model and the type of item.
1. Packaging and labels
When included with the product, the box and packaging are checked, observing the materials, print quality, proportions, and characteristics of the packaging.
The original labels are also examined, paying attention to elements such as fonts, placement, dimensions, and the consistency of the information provided with the product being examined.
2. Accessories and product equipment
When the model includes extra laces, inserts, tags, or other accessories, the materials, construction, and consistency with the equipment intended for that product are checked.
In the case of pre-owned sneakers, the presence of the box and accessories may vary from one pair to another. The equipment is therefore described in the relevant product page: the absence of an accessory does not in itself determine the authenticity of the sneaker, but it represents important information regarding the condition and completeness of the pair.
3. Materials, logos, and construction
A fundamental part of the check concerns the materials used to create the product, such as leather, suede, mesh, rubber, plastic, and fabrics.
Logos, applications, shapes, proportions, and finishes are also analyzed, because the authenticity of a sneaker or streetwear item depends on the coherence of the whole and not on a single isolated element.
4. Stitching, soles, and construction details
The check continues with the analysis of internal and external stitching, soles, midsoles, and assembly details when relevant to the type of product.
When useful for verification, UV detection tools are also used to observe details that may be difficult to evaluate with the naked eye alone.
5. Size, shape, and general consistency
The accuracy of the size information, proportions, overall shape, and consistency between the different elements of the product are also considered.

New and pre-owned sneakers: the same authenticity check
The presence of second-hand products does not change the fundamental standard: a pre-owned sneaker must be just as authentic as a new sneaker.
What changes is the condition. A sneaker may have creases, signs of use, sole wear, or incomplete equipment and still be authentic. Authenticity and condition are two different assessments
Authenticity means determining whether the product is original.
Condition, on the other hand, means evaluating the state of that specific item.
This distinction is particularly important for rare sneakers, archive releases, and collectibles. Two authentic pairs of the same model may have different conditions, accessories, and states of preservation; for this reason, each pre-owned sneaker is described individually and accompanied by photographs of the actual pair available.
